[VIDEO] The Acupressure Points You Need to Know to Quickly Relieve Gas, Bloating and Stomach Pains


Acupressure is an extremely beneficial technique, which is a part of the alternative medicine, and binds the benefits of both, acupuncture and pressure.



To be more concrete, it applies pressure to the acupuncture points and provides a wide range of health benefits. Thus, it effectively accelerates digestion, prevents bloating, helps the emptying of the stomach, and avoids gas issues.

These are some of the most important acupressure points you need to know, in order to treat stomach discomfort, gas, and bloating:

#1: Stomach Points

In order to locate this point, you should bend the leg a bit, and place 4 fingers below the kneecap. You should start with the index finger at the base of the kneecap, while the other fingers remain directly below it. The point is located on the place of your little finger, on the outer side of your shin bone.

Treatment: The pressure of this point will provide high body energy, it will relieve gas, bloating, nausea, improve digestion, it will strengthen the immunity, relieve other digestive disorders like constipation and diarrhea.



#5: Points on Feet

Location: There are 2 essential shiatsu acupressure points for gas on the feet. Cross the ankle over the knee, and find them with the thumb. One is on the top of the arch, a finger’s width away from the foot’s ball, and the other is where the bones of the second and big toe meet on the foot’s top.

Treatment: Press the first point for a minute in order to calm the stomach, reduce gas, and stimulate circulation. Also, you can press the other for a minute to reduce gas and bloating as well.

#6: Three Yin Crossing

Location: You can find this point around 3- finger widths above the bone of the inner ankle.

Treatment: Pres this point in order to treat all lower abdomen issues- including colitis, flatulence, and abdominal distention.



Additionally, there are three more acupressure points which can help you treat stomach issues and reduce gas.

Here are some useful tips on how to practice acupressure in order to relieve gas and get the desired results:
  • You should apply gentle pressure on these points initially.
  • Then you should exercise all four pressure levels and press deeper every time.
  • After the deepest point, you should massage the point in circular motions.
  • For improved effects, you can use essential oils. They can be applied after the acupressure treatment, or right on the points during the treatment.
  • During the acupressure treatment, you should be in a comfortable position, relaxed, and breathe deeply, with the eyes closed.
  • There is no limit on the times you practice acupressure, so you can use it whenever you can.
  • You can also ask for somebody to help you if you are not comfortable massaging the gas acupressure points on your own.
