The Most Effective Ways to Get Your Clothes Really White Without Using Any Bleach – Natural and Inexpensive Solutions!

Our white clothes are really difficult to remain white and bright after wearing them for a few months.

They can be easily covered in stains due to sweat and oils, and they can get discolored by the colors from other clothes. So, the merely whitish color they have is far from beautiful.

Due to all this, we use to buy expensive laundry detergents in order to preserve the condition of our white clothes. Yet, these products contain optical brighteners, aiming at making the clothes whiter than previously.

These synthetic chemicals make the clothes glow on ultraviolet lights and give the impression that they are clean and white. However, numerous optical brighteners are obtained from benzene, which is an extremely harmful substance.

Moreover, these chemicals lead to allergic reactions in people when they wear clothes washed with them. These allergic reactions are otherwise known as phototoxicity, and occur due to the fact that the optical brighteners penetrate the skin and cause reactions, including rashes and irritations when exposed to daylight.

However, we suggest a safer method, so you should try it before you use some harmful chemical cleaner. Namely, you can make your own natural product.

We offer a few ways to do so:

Aspirin

These amazing pills that are extremely helpful in the case of unbearable headaches can also dissolve down the gunk that has left yellow stains on your white clothes.

Yet, be sure to avoid colored varieties of this pill, in order not to leave their color on the clothes. What you need to do is the following: dissolve 5 white aspirin pills in water, and soak your clothes in the solution. Then, place them in your washing machine for a normal washing procedure.

Baking Soda

Mix 4 liters of water with a cup of baking soda. Then, soak your white clothes in the mixture and once finished, they will be white and clean. In this way, you can avoid all kinds of additives in the washing process.

Lemon Juice

Method 1:

While rinsing your white clothes in the washing machine, add a cup of lemon juice and afterward, hang them out to dry in the sun.

Method 2:

Put your white clothes in a big basin full of hot water. Add a lot of lemon juice in it, and leave your clothes to soak in the solution during the night. Do not leave the clothes too long in the basin. In the morning, take them out of the basin and place them in the washing machine, and wash them as usually. You can repeat this procedure as much as possible, and your clothes will be white as new!

Distilled White Vinegar

Add one cup of distilled white vinegar in the laundry detergent. Moreover, you can also spray vinegar on the stains on your clothes, for instance, on your armpit and collar areas. The unpleasant vinegar odor will disappear during the drying process.

Dishwasher Detergent

Your eco- friendly dishwasher detergent can effectively whiten your clothes. Add a cup of it in your laundry detergent and wash your clothes as usually. Note that you should always use detergents which do not contain chlorine and phosphate.

Hydrogen Peroxide (3%)

Hydrogen peroxide, due to its numerous benefits and uses, is commonly used in a number of ways. In fact, hydrogen peroxide (3%) is a non-chlorine bleach, so add a cup of it in your laundry detergent and wash your clothes with it.
